Finishing up on this Gospel Talk. Explaining that John 13:34 is where Jesus gives us the 1 commandment for this New Covenant. There are those who claim there are many New Testament Commandments. Someone made a list of 1050 NT Commandments, but on closer look they are things like the be-attitudes Jesus spoke off; Warnings the Apostle Paul gave in his letters; Practical instructions for Husband and Wife, raising children, setting deacons and bishops in the local church etc. Many of these directives are the practical applications of the 1 commandment to love one another as Jesus loved us. I will also explain what looks like two commandments in 1 John 3:22-23. For information got to: http://www.reformationgospel.com

Introduction into Eschatology - Part 5 - John 3:16
Saturday Sep 03, 2022
Saturday Sep 03, 2022
John 3:16 is generally understood as key to be used in evangelistic messages in our time. It is true that it was something that Jesus said to His listeners, predominantly the Jews of His time. It was Evangelistic in the sense that if they would believe in Him as the promised Messiah, and King as per the Davidic prophecy, they would not perish with the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 A.D.
